Q.  What is the minimum amount of time that I can book?
A.  We prefer a minimum of 2 hours research to be booked, there is no maximum.

Q.  Do you need paying before any research is done?
A.  We prefer payment in advance.

Q.  How soon will you do the work after you have been paid?
A.  Once a cheque has been received and banked we will normally undertake the research within 2 weeks, although the timescale is usually shorter.  Preparing a report is usually immediate, so findings can be emailed straight away, with paper  documents to follow.

Q.  What do we need to start?
A.  As much information as you think necessary.  We need to know what you would like to find out about and where you have already looked.  Have you checked records elsewhere or have you engaged a professional before?  We do not want to duplicate searches unnecessarily, as this will cost you money.

Q.  Why use mancestry?
A.  We have 40 years experience of research, and know the local area and where to find information.  We can save you travelling time & expense for any research that is local for us.

Q.  What makes us better?
A.  We offer a professional & honest service.  We do not search unnecessary places & do not charge for travel time or time to create reports.  Time charged is solely for research.  We both enjoy research and finding out information, and are genuinely excited when we make good progress to help people.
